REGEN
Someone once said that it is too early to talk about sustainable agriculture!
We can observe degraded agricultural lands all around the world and we would not want this to become our standard as a goal to sustain.
That’s why we take action with our REGEN project. Adopting a regenerative approach to agriculture. Focusing on bringing life back to our soils.
Once we have restored the foundations of our food system we hope to start the conversation about sustainable agriculture!
Sustainable Food Workshop in Indonesia
We are fundraising for a workshop in Indonesia to teach people how to make tomato sauce and rosella jam. Our workshop will cover canning and preserving techniques.
We aim to reduce food waste by teaching food processing skills. It will help solve the problem of wasted harvests in a region of Indonesia near Yogyakarta. Farmers there sometimes have to use tomatoes and other crops as animal feed because the market price is too low, resulting in a big loss for them.
The workshop is an opportunity for anyone interested. Not only for farmers, but also for stay-at-home mothers looking for a potential home-based business they can run without significant capital investment needed. Or anyone interested in becoming a little bit more self-reliant.
